Scholarship Challenge Returns in 2019
/Each year, the ACFE challenges our chapters to donate to the ACFE Foundation, which helps provide scholarships to future anti-fraud professionals. The Foundation awards scholarships to students ranging from $1,000-$10,000 per student, with a total of $55,000 donated each year.
We are excited to announce the return of the Scholarship Fundraising Challenge for chapters in 2019. Last year, ACFE chapters surpassed all expectations and donated $70,226! This broke the previous year’s record by nearly $30,000. Since the challenge started in 2014, ACFE chapters have raised nearly $190,000!
ACFE chapters have continuously donated more to the scholarship each year for the past four years and I believe we can accomplish this again in 2019. We are already off to a great start! So far, we have collected $11,550. We received $2,550 from the Tallahassee Area Chapter, $2,500 from the South Florida Chapter, $2,500 from the Greater St. Louis Chapter, $2,000 from the Greater Chicago Chapter, $1,000 from the Georgia Area Chapter, $500 from the Hampton Roads Chapter, and $500 from the San Antonio Chapter.
