2019 Scholarship Challenge Update
/One of our most important duties as ACFE members is to support the next generation of fraud fighters. The ACFE Foundation Scholarship Fund depends on voluntary contributions from our members, and we encourage your chapter to donate to this worthy cause.
The ACFE challenges our chapters to donate to the ACFE Foundation, which helps provide scholarships to future anti-fraud professionals. In exchange for making a donation, ACFE chapters can receive merchandise and books, copies of the CFE Exam Prep Course, and even conference registrations.
The ACFE Foundation awards scholarships to students ranging from $1,000-$10,000 per student, with a total of $55,000 awarded each year.
So far, we have received $16,550 in donations from the following chapters:
Georgia Area Chapter - $6,000
Tallahassee Area Chapter - $2,550
Greater St. Louis Area Chapter - $2,500
South Florida Chapter - $2,500
Greater Chicago Chapter - $2,000
Hampton Roads Chapter - $500
San Antonio Chapter - $500
Since we began the Scholarship Challenge, every year we have surpassed the previous year’s total and hopefully we can continue this trend in 2019. Last year we raised $70,226.
