Scholarship Fundraising Challenge Results

For the fifth year, the ACFE challenged chapters to raise funds for the ACFE Foundation’s Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program. The mission of the ACFE Foundation is to increase the body of anti-fraud knowledge by supporting future anti-fraud professionals worldwide through the funding of the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program. The scholarship program provides an opportunity for men and women of all ages, races, religions and income levels to advance their education. Many of these outstanding and deserving students go on to become CFEs.

Through the hard work of the participating chapters, more than $70,000 was raised for the ACFE Foundation. Collectively, 24 chapters donated to the scholarship program. Of those, thirteen chapters participated for the first time, including four chapters outside of the United States. Last year, the Fundraising Challenge raised nearly $42,000 between 13 chapters.

Below are the results of the Scholarship Challenge:

Double Platinum Level (donations totaling $10,000 or more)

  • Houston Area Chapter - $12,000

  • Central Ohio Chapter - $10,500

  • New York Chapter - $10,000

Platinum Level (donations totaling $7,500 or more)

  • Las Vegas Chapter - $7,500 ($4,500 was raised at the ACFE Charity Poker Tournament)

  • Vancouver Chapter - $7,500

Diamond Level (donations totaling $5,000 or more)

  • Alabama Area Chapter - $5,000

  • Austin Area Chapter - $5,000

  • Maryland Chapter - $5,000

Silver Level (donations totaling 1,000 or more)

  • Greater Chicago Chapter - $2,000

  • Arizona Chapter - $1,001

  • Dallas Area - $1,000

  • DC Metro Area Chapter - $1,000

  • Kentucky Chapter - $1,000

  • Lansing Chapter - $1,000

  • Long Island Chapter - $1,000

Bronze Level (donations totaling $500 or more)

  • Calgary Chapter - $500

  • Hong Kong Chapter - $500

  • Los Angeles Area Chapter - $500

  • Montreal Chapter - $500

  • Northwest Florida Chapter - $500
