Chapters Raise Nearly $18,000 in ACFE Scholarship Fundraising Challenge

For the second year, the ACFE challenged its local chapters to raise funds for the ACFE Foundation’s Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship program. Chapter leaders once again answered to call to help college students continue the fight against fraud.

The 2015 ACFE Scholarship Fundraising Challenge wrapped up in December with nearly $18,000 raised by local chapters to support future anti-fraud professionals.

Here are the results of the challenge:

Platinum level (donations totaling more than $7,500):

• Houston Area Chapter

Silver level (donations more than $2500):

• Dallas Area Chapter
• Maryland Chapter

Bronze level (donations totaling more than $1,000):

• Greater Chicago Chapter
• Northeast Oklahoma Chapter
• Tallahassee Area Chapter

Also participating in the challenge were the Big Sky Chapter and the Pacific Northwest Chapter.

The ACFE and the ACFE Foundation thank all of the chapter leaders and chapter members whose support will provide educational opportunities for students with an interest in fraud examination.

The mission of the ACFE Foundation is to increase the body of anti-fraud knowledge by supporting future anti-fraud professionals worldwide through the funding of the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program. The scholarship program provides an opportunity for men and women of all ages, races, religions and income levels to advance their education. Many of these outstanding and deserving students go on to become CFEs.
