Asia-Pacific Fraud Conference a Success in Singapore

I had the honor of attending the 2013 ACFE Asia-Pacific Fraud Conference in beautiful Singapore. More than 220 attendees representing 30 different countries enjoyed two days of anti-fraud training and valuable networking opportunities.

One of the highlights of the trip was having the opportunity to meet with chapter leaders from around the region and discuss their planned chapter activities and strategies for growth. I was impressed by watching the Singapore Chapter in action as the host chapter for the event. Chapter president David Rule, CFE, and chapter treasurer Teresa Chiu, CFE, used the event as a platform to recruit new chapter members, promote the CFE credential and network with other anti-fraud professionals from around the region.

Your chapter can also seize the moment when an ACFE event is in your town. Whether it’s a short presentation by a chapter leader during morning announcements, providing chapter marketing materials in attendee packets or coordinating a chapter networking function with the ACFE seminar, you can use these gatherings to boost interest in your chapter.

I'm always here to offer any assistance you may need. Also, check out more photos from the event on our Facebook page.
